In 2014, mother and daughter duo Becky Floyd (pictured left) and Emily Wellskopf (right) took their love for interior design and home styling, and created Birchwood Wells. The pair opened up their first store location in downtown Cedarburg, expanding twice before opening a second location in Delafield in 2021. Nearly 10 years later, Emily and Becky still can’t get enough of hunting for unique, one-of-a kind pieces to repurpose and bring back to life. They also take pride in curating their favorite modern decor to help create proud spaces that tell stories and encourage human connection. But hands down, the most rewarding part about owning and growing Birchwood Wells, has been all of the wonderful customers and fellow small business owners—who’ve turned into lifelong friends—that they’ve met along the way.
