Market '22 Recap: What You Can Expect to See at Birchwood Wells This Year

The start of a new year always brings with it wonder & possibility for the year ahead… After reflecting on where we’ve grown, we’re often filled with a hopeful and anticipatory spirit for all of the new ways we want to grow in the next one. Larger than life dreams & ideas fill our minds, and before we know it, we’re ready to create in an even bigger way!

At Birchwood Wells, our business is no outsider to that sentiment. We reflected on the growth that 2021 brought: opening up a second location in Delafield, expanding our Cedarburg walls, and growing the community that we’ve come to know + love. We knew we wanted to make even more houses homes in 2022, and we asked ourselves how we could best do that. We decided we wanted to carry an even wider variety of lines for our customers, from furniture to home decor and gifts, and we wanted each one to be intentional & special to Birchwood Wells. Luckily, the Las Vegas Market is situated in January at the beginning of the year, making it the perfect place for those dreams to come to life!

For those who have never heard of the Las Vegas Market, it can only be described as a business owner & buyer’s dream. Held at the World Market Center, there are 31 floors of furniture, home decor, and gift vendors’ lines to look at, be inspired by, and have the option of purchasing to bring back home. It can be overwhelming if you don’t strategize beforehand - which is exactly what Becky and Emily do. They attest to their mother daughter duo being a strong asset for buying trips this large. While incredibly big, there’s something to be said about meeting vendors in person and experiencing the quality of fabric + detail each item holds - something that you can’t get online or through a catalog. Now that they’ve sorted through it all and decided what to order for the year ahead, it’s the fun part - sharing sneak peeks of their picks with all of you!

The first new collection we’re SO excited to announce we’re carrying is Amber Lewis x Loloi! Amber’s collection with Loloi Rugs is inspired by organic earth tones and vintage textiles, creating a look seamless with Birchwood Wells’ style. We fell in love with the variety of designs this line carries, and we know you will too!

Next up is furniture! We found a variety of chairs sure to make that cozy corner of your home one you’ll want to stay snuggled up in all day. We love the new colors, designs, and textures showcased here. One that stood out was a chair we anticipate will stay popular in the new year - the infamous cozy swivel chairs that have taken the interior world by storm!

Now, there is one ESPECIALLY exciting new addition coming to Birchwood Wells this year… In fact, we’ll be devoting an entire room at each of our stores to it. It won’t just be one thing, but a collection of things, that all speak to COZY & COMFORTABLE. Until it’s installed, we can’t say much, but we can leave you with this…
