Delafield Store Grand Opening: July 10-11

After announcing this spring that Birchwood Wells is expanding to a second location, we can finally share that our Delafield store’s grand opening will be held the weekend of July 10-11! Hours on Saturday are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and on Sunday from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The grand opening will include several rooms full of our home goods, intentionally styled to reflect current design trends that provide inspiration to our customers. We will also be serving yummy treats and refreshing summer beverages.

We can’t wait to reveal the transformation that the store has undergone since we signed the lease in May—from ripping out the carpet and refinishing the hardwood floors underneath, to painting the walls white, and installing new light fixtures. Now it’s time for the fun part: decorating with our merchandise!

Similar to our Cedarburg store, Delafield will carry a mix of curated rustic and modern furniture and decor from our favorite brands, as well as from local carpenters and artists. We will also offer a growing selection of beauty, skincare, bath and wellness products.

The main difference you’ll notice between the two stores is our vintage pieces. Approximately 20 percent of what we sell is one-of-a-kind, antique and re-finished benches, islands, vases, mirrors and more. Each store will have its own, unique vintage items. We are also planning to eventually use the basement of the Delafield store as a space to host workshops, bridal showers and other events. Stay tuned for more details on the basement project later this summer.

Our grand opening coincides with the Delafield Block Party: Food and Music Festival 2021. The annual event is held this year on Friday, July 9 and Saturday, July 10 from 5 p.m.-midnight, attracting thousands of people to downtown Delafield. Shop our store during the day, and then dine out and listen to live bands at night.
If you can’t make it to our grand opening, our regular business hours will be: Monday through Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
It’s been a labor of love getting our new store ready for business, and we can’t wait to welcome both familiar and new faces inside soon!
